PSTET 2018 (conducted on 19 January 2020) – Result declared on 23-03-2020.
In accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the RTE Act, the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) vide Notification dated 23rd August, 2010 laid down the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for class I to VIII. It had been inter alia provided that one of the essential qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher in any of the schools referred to in Clause (n) of section 2 of the RTE Act is that he/she should pass the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which will be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE. The rationale for including the TET as a minimum qualification for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher is as under:

Good news for all candidates who are still waiting for the TET Exam 2017. The Punjab government has been issued the official notification to fulfill the Teacher Vacant seats for class 1 st to 8 th . So all candidates fill the application form through official website and complete the application process before the last date. Otherwise candidates will be not able to sit in the exam. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website regularly and then they will be able to get updated with all the latest notifications. All the interested candidates have to fill the application form before the last date. After the application form filling process will be completed then the board will arrange the exam centers for the exam.
After fill the application form, candidates need to download the PSTET 2017 Admit Card for appear in examination. Without admit card candidates are not allow in the examination hall. Candidates must download their admit card through online or official website.
