Steps to Apply for MOMA Scholarship:
Note: All the information provided about the Ministry of Minority Scholarship Scheme 2019 is based on last year notification. So first wait to release the MOMA Scholarship 2019 Notification and official dates & other information will be update asap.
Muslims (Muslim minority scholarship), Sikhs (Sikh minority scholarship), Christians, Buddhists, and Zoroastrians (Parsis) have been notified as minority communities by National Commission for Minorities. Government offers financial support to the candidates who can’t afford the expenses of higher studies at college/ university level.
Post Matric Scholarship will be awarded for studies in a government or private school after class X for classes XI and XII, under-graduate, post graduate studies in India. Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh
Students Enrolled in academic Session 2019-20- Class I- X & UG Courses | PG Courses and other courses
Eligibility Criteria:
Any eligible student of minority community studying in school/college/institute for Class 11th, 12th, Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) Courses can apply for Post Matric Minorities Scholarship Scheme: –
- Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks or equivalent marks in their last final examination.
- The applicant should belong to the minority community.
- The annual income of the applicant’s family should not exceed Rs2lakh per year from all sources.
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority Communities 2019 – National Scholarship Portal, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India has been awarding Post Matric Scholarship for the students belonging to the Minority Communities pursuing higher education from Class IX upto PhD in a Government or Private higher secondary school/college/University Technical and vocational courses (other than those listed under Merit-cum-Means Scholarship scheme) in Industrial Training.
Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2019 – Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India, is inviting applications for Post Matric Scholarship for Students with Disabilities 2019-20 from students of class 11 to postgraduate degree and diploma.
