The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana is imparting skill based training to the unemployed youth of state through the network of 166 Govt. Industrial Training Institutes (133 (Co-Ed.) GITIs and 33 GITIs for Women) and 242 Private ITIs under Craftsman Training Scheme. Engineering and Non- Engineering trade courses of one and two years duration are being run in these institutes. During current academic year 2018-19, 60544 sanctioned seats in 3540 trade units have been released for admission in GITIs and 38604 sanctioned seats in 2274 trade units have been released for admission in private ITIs. 72293 candidates admitted to Govt. & Pvt. ITIs in the session 2017-18. Admissions for session 2018-19 are in process.

Before applying for Haryana ITI it is suggested to all the candidates to check the eligibility criteria. As the conducting body, the Haryana Government has set the criteria under which it is necessary to check eligibility. Only the candidates who are eligible can apply for it.
The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana is the conducting body for ITI admissions in the state. Currently, there are 409 ITIs in the state, including both govt and private institutes. The main purpose of the department is to impart skill-based training to the youth under Craftsman Training Scheme. Admissions are granted to 1-year and 2-year courses under CTS scheme.
ITI Haryana Online Application Form 2020 – Skill Development & Industrial Training Department, Haryana will release the Notification for admission in ITIs in Haryana under Craftsman Training Scheme. Interested candidates are advised to Carefully cross check eligibility criteria before filling up the Registration form. The application form will be available in the offline mode only. After the submission of ITI Haryana application forms, candidates can download their merit cards. The same will be published on the official website and candidates can access and download the merit card using his/her login credentials. This merit card will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s score in qualifying examination, vacant seats in an institute and his/her category. The candidates have to report to the desired institute with this result and required documents within the reporting window. After the closure of this window, seat allotment will cease.

Industrial Training Institutes (139 (Co-Ed.) GITIs and 33 GITIs for Women) and 246 Private ITIs under Craftsman Training Scheme. Engineering & Non- Engineering trade courses of one and two years duration are being run in these institutes. During the current academic year 2019-20, 74384 sanctioned seats in 3655 trade units, out of which 57328 seats in 2612 trade units have been released for admission in Govt. ITIs and 47216 sanctioned seats in 2384 trade units out of which 34388 seats in 1593 trade units have been released for admission in Pvt. ITIs. Total 65623 (47386 in GITI’s and 18241 in PITI’s) Trainees admitted to Govt. & Pvt. ITI’s during session 2019-20.
In the year 1966, when Haryana came into being, there was 48 Govt. Industrial Training Institutes with a seating capacity of 7156. Now, there is a total of 418 Govt. & Pvt. Industrial Training Institutes with 121600 sanctioned seats offering courses in 81 different trades. Quality of training in ITIs is being upgraded regularly by improvement in curriculum, training methodology and training of trainers through industry sector council at Govt. of India. New trades are also being introduced as per market demand.
