Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra has a number of achievements in sports. In 2015 the Boxing Team of Kurukshetra University won the All India Inter-University Boxing Championship among more than 100 Universities from all over India. [10] All India Inter-University Boxing Championship was held at LPU, Jalandhar. Boxers from KUK won 3 Gold and 3 Bronze Medals under their boxing coach Rajesh Kumar Rajound. [11]

Haryana had 622 AICTE-approved technical institutions other than deemed private universities and central institutes during the 2012–2013 school year. [1]

Haryana is currently an education hub in North India. With a central university, it is home to many state, deemed and private universities. There is also a Regional centre of IGNOU, a Central University, in the state. With the emergence of many universities, Haryana is offering education to not only local students but also students from other states who come here for higher education.
The fee structure of these universities depends upon the courses offered. Some universities also provide state-of the-art facilities to their students. Hostel facilities are also available in some of the universities.

4. University of Madras:

Estd.: 1857
The second of the trio of state universities in India was set up in the then Madras (now Chennai) in 1857. The institute has six campuses in the city. These are at Chepauk, Marina, Guindy, Taramani, Maduravoyal and Chetpet. It got ranked 5th by the India Today in its 2011 top universities ranking

This is because, at the mechanistic level, all biological phenomena are mediated by genes. An engineering degree such as one in biotechnology will not prepare you better for a post-graduate focus in genetics.
