- Bachelor of Arts and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education
- Bachelor of Arts with at least 50% marks and one-year B.Ed in accordance with the NCTE
- Bachelor of Arts Music (vocal/ instrumental) with 50% marks in Music as one of the elective subjects
- If done Bachelor of Education, they should have Music as a teaching subject
- Level – 3 for Postgraduate Teacher (PGT)
