Earlier, the HTET 2019 Notification was released. Haryana Board has released the Haryana Tet 2019 notification on the official site of the Board of School Education, Haryana (bseh.org.in).
For one level only

Candidates appearing in the Level III exam will have one paper in this category. There will be objective-type questions (MCQs) and the duration of the exam is two and a half hours. Each question carries one mark. The total number of questions is 150.
The exam will be held in pen and paper-based mode. All questions in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). Each question carries one mark. Candidates will have 4 alternatives out of which they will need to choose one. In case of the wrong answer, ‘there shall be no negative marking.’ Have a glance at the HTET exam pattern 2019 in details below –

(i) The Validity Period of HTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be five years from the date of declaration of result for all levels.
(ii) If the result of HTET is revised on the part of the Board, the certificate is issued from ‘Not Qualified to Qualified’ the validity of the certificate will be considered from the date of declaration of revised result. In case of result revised from ‘Qualified to Qualified’ then the validity of certificate of HTET will be considered from the date of declaration of main result.
(iii) There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring HTET Certificate.
(iv) Candidates who have already qualified HTET will have the option to appear in the fresh HTET to improve their score, if they so desire.
(v) If the result of HTET is declared late or revised on the part of candidate then validity of the certificate will be considered from the date of declaration of main result.

  • Paper I: who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V (Primary Teacher)
  • Paper-II: who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII (TGT – Trained Graduate Teacher)
  • Paper III: who wants to be a PGT (Post Graduate Teacher)

16th September 2019: Haryana Government has extended the validity of HTET certificate from 5years to 7 years.

Level 2: Minimum qualification of teaching to the class VI to VIII. Candidates Passed or appearing in the final year of graduation, completed or pursuing 2 years diploma in elementary education in any of the streams.
