Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar, was found in 1995. The jurisdiction of the university extends to the courses being run in the areas of science, technology, engineering, pharmacy and management.
The university is situated over about 372 acres. Approximately 200 acres has been developed.

An old adage goes that Even clouds have blemish. It still stand true because there are a few shortcomings too regarding the university. The environment between students is academic friendly but there are still few who disrupt this friendly environment.

Fees – The students taking admission through the study centres may deposit the prescribed fee with their study centers. The candidates taking admission directly in the University may deposit the required fee by way of Demand Draft in favour of the Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar OR will deposit their fee in any CBS Branch of PNB in Account No. 0203021100000023 or UBI in account No. 344302050000103 or HDFC bank in account No.01551450001129.
GJUST is located in Hisar. It offers UG, PG and PG Diploma courses. Guru Jambheshwar got DEC Programme-wise Regular Recognition in 2009-10 for M.Sc, M.A, MIB, MBA, M.Com, BBA, PG Diploma and MCA distance education courses.
